June 17, 2019, 05:02:51 PM Admin says: Hi Folks,
Field Day is THIS Saturday and Sunday!!!  Come join NARA on Horns Hill.
•      Start about 9:00 am Saturday: Set up antennas and other equipment on Horns Hill.
•      2:00 pm Field Day officially starts for 24 hours.
•      5:30 pm Dinner time.  We’ll have hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings.  A number of people are bringing side dishes as well.
•      After dinner we’ll have a brief ‘training’ program (worth 100 points) to give people a chance to check out their skills with Anderson Powerpole and Coax connectors.
•      Some brave folks will work throughout the night.
•      We’ll monitor the 146.88 repeater.
•      Operations will stop no later than 2:00 pm Sunday.
Keep a watch for developing weather conditions for the weekend.  Current predictions for Saturday are for “Chance of showers (30%) and thunderstorms.  Partly sunny, with a high near 81.”  Saturday night similar, but with chance of showers at 50%, and Sunday the same, with chance of showers at 40% and a high of 83.  Not ideal, but we’ll see how it goes.
See you on the Hill or on the air.
73,
Weldon K8NQ

Hi Earl,
I have the slides in pdf format and an audio file of the talk given by Chas and Cliff on the history of Heathkit. They're pretty
big, but it would be great if they could be added to the NARA web page. Here are the links to the pdf and audio files:
