Greetings ... and Newark Amateur Radio Association Membership,

I wanted to take a moment and share with you that our local American Red Cross is currently looking for individuals that would be interested in learning new skills while serving their local community as "Virtual" Red Cross volunteers.

It may surprise you to know that local volunteers can assist local disaster families while working from home!!

THE ONLY REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR INDIVIDUALS TO HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER WITH INTERNET,  A SMART PHONE, AVAILABILITY FOR A FEW HOURS A WEEK AND A DESIRE TO HELP FAMILIES DURING THEIR "WORST DAY EVER"!!

If possible, we would appreciate if you would share this messaging to help promote this URGENT local volunteer need with your membership.

We are excited to share with you the new "VOLUNTEER FROM HOME" opportunities that are available with the American Red Cross.  And yes, there is also on-line training courses to support all of our volunteer positions!

You can contact me at [email protected] (or call me at 740-438-2630) if you would like more information about these VIRTUAL service opportunities with the American Red Cross in our local communities!

As always, thanks for your support of the mission of the American Red Cross,

Mike
