ARRL Field Day Locator & Information

Hi Folks,

Field Day is THIS Saturday and Sunday!!!
Come join NARA on Horns Hill.
- ~9:30 am Saturday, set up antennas and other equipment on Horns Hill.
- 2:00 pm Field Day officially starts for 24 hours
- 5:30 pm Dinner time.  We'll have hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings.  The number of people are bringing side dishes as well.  Susan Wolfe DOES plan to bring here pies!!!
- After dinner we'll have a brief 'training' program (worth 100 points) to will give people a chance to check out their skills with soldering wires, circuit boards, and connectors.
- Some brave folks will throughout the night.
- Operations will stop no later than 2:00 pm Sunday.

Keep a watch for developing weather conditions for the weekend.  Current predictions for Saturday are for "Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2pm ... and before 11pm... ."  Not ideal, but we'll see how it goes.  Sunday looks a little better until about 1 pm.

Bret KD8SCL has requested we use the 444.500 repeater Friday and Saturday (until about 5:00 pm) in order for the 146.88 repeater to be used in support of the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA).  Be sure to monitor both for WX related events.

See you on the Hill or on the air.

73,

Weldon K8NQ
