Bret KD8SCL sent me an Email asking for people who would want to run net logger during this week's ARES Net. He also asked for suggestions of topics for discussion. I thought it might be a good idea to review "How to Install and Run Net Logger" with the ARES group. I it might aslo be a topic for the NARA NET. Below is my post to Bret:

Suggestion for topic; Review the steps that it takes to run net logger. This might make a few more individuals Net Logger capable.

(1) Download and install "Net Logger" on to your computer. (It is free!) (https://www.netlogger.org)
(2) Review "Monitor Net".
(3) Establish an account with QRZ.com. Registration is free)
(4) I think that you must have an paid account to be able to have all the data on Net Logger fill in automatically. (I have a XML Logbook Data Subscription = $29.95/year)
(5) If an individual  has a paid QRZ account review Net Logger "Set Up" to have the data automatically fill in.
(6) But, if no paid ORZ account, you can just manually log in the call signs and first names for free.
(7) Review "Save Check-ins" and "Save Check-Ins As"
