Special note:  During the call-up and during announcements it might be prudent to listen to the repeater input frequency since net control is highly likely to be centered in close vicinity to the Fox Hunt Transmitter.

Fox Hunt Huntmaster will activate a hidden transmitter.

0900 - Fox Hunt Net called up
0915 – 1st clue provided (Specific Frequency of the Fox)
0930 – 2nd clue provided (Four (4) digit Grid Locator)
0945 – Call for additional participants and repeat of 1st & 2nd clue
1015 – 3rd clue provided (More specific clue)
1100 – Normal conclusion.  If needed, 4th clue (More specific clue)
1200 Noon -- Fox Hunt concluded with or without successful RDF
* Clues may or may not be repeated by Huntmaster

Success:  Find the hidden fox transmitter and inform the Huntmaster accordingly.  The first person to inform the Huntmaster somewhat secretly is the Fox Hunt Champion for the hunt.  It is not sufficient to simply find the Huntmaster although, it helps as a first step to finding the hidden transmitter, which should be near-by.

Notes:
1. Teamwork, including sharing of information and bearings, is allowed.
2. The goal is to have fun, learn by doing, and apply Radio Direction Finding (RDF) techniques.
3. Simply driving around to find the Huntmaster is not consistent with the purpose of this event and result in disqualification.
4.  The Fox transmitter will be located where it is publicly accessible inside the boundaries of Licking County.  It may or may not be located in the same location as last year.  The last clue may or may not be the frequency of the fox transmitter.  The clues will be helpful but not too helpful.
5. Last year's Fox Hunt Champion was Jeff, N8ADX.  He was the first participant to find the hidden transmitter.
