Hi Folks,

NARA will have a 'silent auction' for a Vibroplex? Deluxe Key made in 1944 according to its serial number and the vibroplex.com web site. It was owned by a resident of Licking County who served in the U.S. Coast Guard, now a SK. It's in amazing condition with a Coast Guard medallion mounted on the base. It comes with a lined wooden carrying case and an extra set of knobs.  A similar key sold recently on eBay for $194.05 and it only had a cardboard box! The same key is available new from Vibroplex for about $273. It seems they no longer sell the carrying cases, although they do have display cases for about $145.

We'll start the bidding at $200 for the key and carrying case. If you're interested, please send your bid to [email protected] . I'll confirm all bids and let any previous bidders know of the newest bid. The deadline for bids will depend on the activity, but I'll let all bidders know before we close the sale. The proceeds will be used to help NARA with its support of local hams.

Thanks for your interest in this vintage key.
